Overview
Money questions come down to three things: what a loan costs, what savings grow into, and what the tax office takes. These calculators answer all three with the formula shown, so you can check the arithmetic rather than trust a black box.
Which one do you need?
- Borrowing — EMI, total interest and a month-by-month schedule for any loan
- Buying a home — monthly payment with taxes and insurance, and what extra payments save
- Investing monthly — what a monthly investment grows into at a given return
- Living off a pot — how long savings last at a fixed monthly withdrawal
- Tax planning — income tax under the new and old regimes, FY 2025-26
- Comparing returns — total and annualised return, so different holding periods compare fairly

Financial Calculators: frequently asked questions
- Do these calculators store my financial details?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent to a server or saved. Close the tab and the numbers are gone.
- Which interest rate should I enter?
Use the rate the lender quotes as the annual reducing-balance rate, which is what EMI is based on. Flat rates advertised by some lenders look lower but cost more — a 10% flat rate is roughly 18% reducing.
- Are the investment returns guaranteed?
No. Any return you type is an assumption. Equity returns vary year to year, so run the numbers at a lower rate as well and plan with that one.
