What exchange rate does this use?
The mid-market rate (halfway between buy and sell prices), refreshed about twice a day.
Why does my bank give a different rate?
Banks, card networks and money changers add a markup or fee to the mid-market rate. Compare the total amount received, not just the rate.
How do I convert back?
Use the swap button, or divide by the rate: if 1 USD = 88 INR, then 1 INR = 1 ÷ 88 ≈ 0.0114 USD.
