ConvertCalculate is a free set of calculators and converters for the maths that comes up in ordinary life: what a loan costs, how much to save each month, what a recipe in cups means in millilitres, and what time a call in Chicago is in Bengaluru.
How we build
- The formula is on the page. Every calculator names the method it uses — Mifflin–St Jeor, the US Navy circumference method, the standard EMI formula — with a worked example, so you can check the arithmetic instead of trusting a box.
- We say what a number cannot tell you. BMI cannot see muscle. An investment projection is an assumption, not a promise. Those limits are written on the page, not buried.
- Your numbers stay yours. The tools run in your browser. What you type is not sent to us and not stored.
- No sign-up, no paywall. The site is free and supported by advertising and, on a few shopping pages, affiliate links. Neither ever changes a result.
Keeping it accurate
Rules change: tax slabs, interest rates, daylight saving dates, clinical guidelines. When they do, we update the calculator and the text around it, and we link the primary source so you can check it yourself. If you find something wrong, write to hello@convertcalculate.com — we would rather hear it from you than leave it wrong.
