How it works
A fraction, a decimal and a percentage are three ways of writing the same quantity. Turning fractions into percents takes three steps:
- Divide the numerator by the denominator.
- Multiply by 100.
- Round sensibly — 1/3 is 33.33%, not exactly a third of a hundred.
