Every volume conversion works the same way: the value is turned into a base unit, then into the unit you asked for. This converter covers millilitres, litres, cubic centimetres and metres, US and UK fluid ounces, cups, pints and gallons.

- Type the value — the result updates as you type.
- Swap the two units to convert back the other way.
1 litre = 1000 cm³, and a US gallon (3.785 L) is smaller than a UK gallon (4.546 L). Those definitions are exact, so the only rounding is in the display.
